Overview

The HAWS SP157A Scald Protect Bleed Valve is a temperature-activated safety valve designed to help reduce the risk of scalding in emergency shower systems. The valve automatically opens to bleed off hot water when supply temperatures exceed safe limits and closes once temperatures return to an acceptable range.
